Our Eye Doctors
Dr. Julie Walter was raised in the small town of Diller, Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. From there she headed to Bloomington, Indiana and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. Having received her first pair of glasses in second grade, the field of optometry piqued her interest at a young age. Dr. Walter feels there is no better way to have an impact on someone’s life than giving them a better view of the world around them. Dr. Walter is passionate about providing personalized care with optimal vision for each patient. She wants all of her patients to experience life seeing with the highest quality of vision possible. Outside the office, Dr. Walter and her husband Adam keep busy with 4 young kids including 3 boys and a daughter. Currently, there is no dog in the family…..much to the dismay of everyone in the family except Julie. Learn More About Dr. Walter.
Dr. Adam Walter is a Freeman, S.D. native. He earned his B.A. in Biology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. He then attended Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, IN. After graduation, Dr. Walter completed a one-year fellowship in refractive surgery and ocular disease at LaserVue and The EyeFoundation in Orlando, FL. At LaserVue , Dr Walter was an FDA co-investigator for the Custom Cornea LASIK treatment trials for hyperopia and mixed-astigmatism.
Dr. Walter has specific interests in Sports and Performance Vision, Neuro-Optometric care, ocular disease, and myopia control in addition to seeing patients of all ages. He is excited.to be seeing patients full time at See + Be Seen. .
